Navigation The Site We are a family-run Touring-Caravan and Camping site, on a working farm just outside Corfe Castle, on the southern coast of the beautiful county of Dorset — England. The site is open from 1st March to 31st October weather permitting The camp-site is ideally situated for using local transport, with bus stops at the site entrance and the steam train to Swanage just a short walk away, which makes us the ideal base for exploring the isle of Purbeck. We are set back from the main road, but with easy access. There is a footpath leading directly to the village of Corfe and there you have 3 pubs along with several shops and the village bakery, and of course you can visit the ruins of Corfe Castle. For those that like to keep fit there are numerous cycling and walking routes directly off the camp-site and we allow campers on-site to access the top of the hill, from where they can enjoy panoramic views of the isle of Purbeck. The Ardnamurchan Campsite, Kilchoan

Nestling in an idyllic oak woodland setting on a traditional Lakeland sheep farm, the area is a haven for wildlife with stunning views to the mountains. Yet the pretty village of Nether Wasdale with its 2 wonderful country inns serving hearty meals and fine ales, is only a two minute stroll away. This handy little shop is stocked with everyday essentials such as bread, baked beans, local milk and eggs to items you may have forgotten such as tin openers, toothbrushes and tent pegs.

There is a small range of camping gear walking poles, camping gas, chairs, socks, etc. The cafe serves breakfast rolls from 8am using Woodall’s produce and local free-range eggs vegetarian breakfast rolls are available on request. There is also homemade soup and freshly made sandwiches as well as packed lunches adult and kid’s versions.

All of our RV camping sites have full hook-ups with amp electric service, water, sewer, cable TV and WIFI, allow plenty of room for slide-outs and awnings, and our premium pull-through sites can accommodate the largest RVs.

The short answer is, why not? Unless we are in a terrible hurry, we hook-up to water, sewer, and electric. We do our darndest not to get in a terrible hurry. We retired to avoid terrible hurries. We have boondocked in many places and we are very open to stealth camping as well. Campground preferences include dry camping to full boondocking. We actually prefer no campgrounds simply because we prefer the serenity and the ability of our dog children to run around without worrying about other campers.

I usually leave the sewage hose stowed until then. More often we take electric and water sites which tend to be more available. We have also started to use the Harvest Hosts locations which offers no hook-up sites.

Wernddu Golf Club Campsite

Instead of sending the duo to the nearest pub, this resourceful constable decided to try and negotiate a permanent solution to the lack of camping facilities in the village by approaching the owner of The Demesne Farm and discussing the possibility of sitting a permanent camp site on one of the farms flat, grassy fields. And so the Demesne Farm Campsite was born! Today the campsite boasts 30 all grass pitches of which 13 have 10amp electricity hook-ups.

Dishwashing facilities and a wide range of local attraction information are situated in the blocks which are located on the outskirts of the working farm buildings. Being situated on a working farm gives the visitor the chance to observe the daily goings-on on the farm, meet the farmer ask any questions you want – he’s used to it!

Available from April to October, weather permitting. This is a lively market town, with excellent shopping, Norman castle and canal boat trips. The sites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs up to 40 feet. Sites are located in the hammock forest, away from blowing sand and salt spray, but most are within easy bicycling or walking distance from the beach. The campground has two distinct camping areas — South Park and North Park. South Park includes parking pads 30 to 40 feet in length, with only two pull-through sites.

W e are a small rural caravan and camp site 3 miles from the border village of Longtown, handy for Carlisle and Gretna Green. The site is on a smallholding within the mixed woodland and pastured farmland of Netherby Estate. We only take a maximum of seven units, so are generally pretty tranquil.

Get more free help and advice when you join the Club. There are two main ways you can power electrical devices on the campsite. The first is to use a leisure battery, which is like a car battery and provides a 12V supply, and the second is an electric hook-up, which provides a V supply as you would find at home. Your own power pack A leisure battery is a great way to provide electricity when you are away from a mains connection. You can use it to power a range of 12V devices, from lights to toilet flushes and from televisions to caravan movers.

Demesne Farm campsite is a small secluded campsite on a working farm in the picturesque North Tyne village of Bellingham. The site which offers stunning views of the surrounding fells can accommodate up to six caravans and twenty four tent pitches together with electric hook ups.

The farm and campsite is situated on the Marloes Peninsula, which is within part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It is a small campsite with clean basic facilities, which consist of 8 communal toilets and wash hand basins, 3 showers that work on 50p coins the shower lasts approximately 4 to 5 minutes , 3 washing up sinks and a chemical disposal point. There are several fridges and freezers available to all campers.

We also have picnic benches available for hire. Karre and Robert are big on recycling. There are separate bins for plastic bottles, newspapers and magazines, tins and cans and glass bottles and jars. There is also a compost heap for organic waste and peelings.

For anyone wishing to tour and camp in the Highlands of Scotland and North Coast , Broomfield offers a well maintained and serviced site, centrally located for many of the most popular Highland destinations, and set in an outstanding environment famed for scenery and sunsets alike. Ashaig campsite on the Isle of Skye, is conveniently placed between Kyle of Lochalsh, and Broadford about 4 miles from the Skye bridge and so provides the ideal base when starting or finishing a tour of the island.

There are also many exceptional places to visit from here, so it can be a perfect base for a longer stay. Apart from a lovely, safe, sandy beach five minutes walk away, there are beautiful views of the Cuillin, the mainland and various islands to the North. Applecross can be seen directly across the water. The site is on a working croft, although stock are not present on the croft during the summer season. This means I’m afraid we are only able to take members of the club.

There is between 6 and 18 metres between pitches depending on position. Some pitches are on a gentle north facing slope.
